CGP was formed in 2023 as the next evolution of the Canyon Group of Companies- a legacy platform founded in 2005 in Larkspur, California.  The Canyon Group brought together professionals with deep expertise in investment banking, development, and asset management, supported by a close-knit group of high-net-worth investors who shared a belief in the long-term value of experiential, ultra-luxury hospitality.
